Protocol Roots

Ardur is the public product-facing runtime and evidence layer.

This public repo should lead with the engineering surface:

• declared mission at runtime
• enforced action and resource boundaries
• receipts, attestations, and proof tooling

Why this page exists

The project has deeper protocol and research roots, but external readers should not need that history before they can understand what Ardur does in production.

Historical naming boundary

Historical implementation and protocol names may appear here for background, but they should not lead the repo:

• Ardur: public product name
• VIBAP: current implementation lineage that may still appear in package internals
• MCEP and related protocol naming: background material, not the public hero
